After sustaining a traumatic brain injury in 1998, Kimberly was forced to relearn what most take for granted; such as reading,writing, walking and talking. She tackled her difficulties head on in order to create her first book,"Canine and Abled,Taking The Dis Out of Disabled," which is the inspiring,true story of Kimberly's bid for Olympic gold tragically ended by a horrific car crash, her partnership with her service dogs, and the founding of what has become an award-winning educational program that gave Kimberly's motivational speaking career it's start.
Kimberly is often invited to contribute to publications in her fields of expertise which include: service dogs, business motivation, ADA training, dog training, horse training, sensitivity training and sports psychology.

Kimberly Carnevale was a former professional athlete vying for a spot on the US Equestrian Team in the illustrious sport of equestrian show jumping until a devastating accident left her permanently disabled.
